Please find below an overview of year four’s curriculum for 2024/25
At Litherland Moss we have a values driven approach to learning. Below is the ‘Rainbow Pathway’ for our current curriculum focus.
Geography- Global Caretakers
We are learning about the Earth's climate zones and biomes and discussing how we can care for our planet.
Science - Classification
We are learning about how we can sort living things by their similarities. We are learning about animals and sorting vertebrates and invertebrates.
Art- Drawing and Sketching
We are experimenting with different pencil types and how to draw accurately.
PE- Cricket

TimesTables
In Year 4, we work very hard to learn our timestables. These are assessed at the end of the year. Please practice these as often as you can. Memorising timetables strengthens our ability to perform mental maths. Timestables are important for completing standardised tests, like SATS, in a timely manner.
